In a turn of fortune, the lack of railroad access to Weston effectively preserved the natural environment to date.

The town has the Weston Field Club for a more casual family-oriented environment, and Aspetuck Country Club for golf and numerous luxury amenities. Over 20 miles of trails traverse Devil’s Den Nature Preserve.

Things to Do

Lachat Town Farm is located on the Juliana Lachat Preserve and is a 42-acre farm near Devil’s Den. The farm features animals, gardens, open meadows, and an educational facility that provides community events and programs. Devil’s Den Preserve is the largest in Connecticut, with 1,800 acres of land and wildlife. The preserve features many aquatic habitats and species, woodlands, wetlands, and valleys, and offers hiking and wildlife observation.
 
Weston residents have access to amenities at Longshore including golf and tennis and enjoy discounted pricing ($375) for a seasonal pass to Westport beaches.
 
Weston Arts is a nonprofit organization that promotes and showcases the arts through scholarships and the betterment of school art programs and community arts. Weston also holds many community events like the 4th of July celebration, Lachat Farmers Market, Garden tours, music in the meadow, spring barn dance, Memorial Day 5K, and more. Also, enjoy swimming at Bisceglie Park.
